The Egyptian Multiple Listing Service was founded in 1998. This computerized inventory of properties for sale in southern Illinois is provided by the board in conjunction with the vending services of Solid Business Solutions, LLC, Henderson, North Carolina.
The EZlist program offers the latest in MLS vending services with special focus on real estate agents and their needs in serving the consumer.
Presently there are approximately 127 participating MLS offices.

Internet Data Exchange (IDX), referred to as "Broker Reciprocity", is the next stage in the evolution of MLS as the primary means of enhancing cooperation between REALTORS® to facilitate the purchase and sale of real property. IDX gives MLS participants the tool they need to display each other's listings on their Internet websites. IDX enables brokers to display MLS listing data (with the consent of listing brokers in the MLS) to ensure company websites have essential property listing information as consumers come to their company sites.
