Alexis Hotel
Taking up half a block, the Alexis Hotel has presided elegantly in the heart of Downtown Seattle since the turn of the century. On the National Registry of Historic Places, the hotel has welcomed royalty, luminaries and leaders from around the world. Graceful refinement and warm hospitality continues to make the Alexis Seattle's premiere hotel. The facility is decorated all in wood panelled walls and green carpeted flooring. Many works of art hang along the walls and potted plants are evenly placed along the floor. Antique furniture abounds. This hotel features three luxurious meeting rooms each offering the comfort and privacy of an elegant residence. All amenities are provided and at your service. It has high ceilings in every room and fireplaces in most. Alexis also offers a whole floor of Aveda Spas inviting its guests to expand the boundaries of beauty and wellness.
To the right of the entry doors is the Bookstore Bar & Cafe, featuring a collection of International cookbooks and magazines. It is favorite among guests and locals alike. Enjoy a light lunch or dinner surrounded by floor and ceiling bookcases. In the warmer months, enjoy the lively patio, where garden furniture and shaded tables create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
