Dr. Schittek firmly believes in providing the highest quality surgical care. He pioneered many "firsts" in this area, such as endovascular surgery (balloon angioplasty and stents), thoracoscopic lung surgery, catheter directed thrombolysis for deep vein thrombosis of upper and lower extremity, laparoscopic appendectomy and colectomy.
